Crazy

Image: Wayne LaPierre

From the MSNBC web site: On NBC’s Meet the Press, National Rifle Association chief Wayne LaPierre on Sunday (Dec. 23) refused to support new gun control legislation and maintained his support for putting armed guards and police in schools in response to the Dec. 14 school shootings in Newtown, Conn.

“If it’s crazy to call for putting police in and securing our schools to protect our children, then call me crazy,” LaPierre told NBC’s David Gregory.

As mama always said, "If the shoe fits, wear it."

  2. Jim, It is good to see you are back in the saddle again and speaking out on the side of sanity. Bill Moyer said it best recently when he said: "The NRA is the enabler of death--paranoid, delusional, and as venomous as a scorpion. With the weak-kneed acquienscence of our politicians, the National Rifle Association has turned the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution into a cruel and deadly hoax." Happy New Year!
