Sunday morning

  1. I am intrigued by the two doors:
    One entrance, one exit?
One for her, one for him?
One for the righteous, one for sinners?

Segregation of any kind? Or just because?

  2. Two entrances are fairly common on old churches, presumably one for women and the other for men. I know that to be fact for Shaker meeting houses, but it seems to be true for others. The descriptions of old Methodist churches frequently refer to separate entrances for men and women. Perhaps someone has a more definitive answer. Jim

  3. I love to see country churches. Looks like the "new" highway is awfully close.
